Homestead’s Eligibility Form helps us to determine your initial eligibility to our program. This is the first step toward becoming the owner of a community land trust home. If you are eligible you will be added to our email Interest List. Once you are on Homestead’s Interest List you will begin to receive emails notifying you of homes for sale through our program and how to apply to those specific homes. Use the button on this page to submit your eligibility information.
If you have submitted an Eligibility Form in the past and are on the Interest List (you have been getting emails about homes for sale) you do not need to submit another one.

HOW WE CHOOSE BUYERS
Given the crisis of supply that limits the number of affordable homes for sale in King County, Homestead has multiple buyers for each home it sells. How do we decide who can purchase the home when there are more buyers than homes?
Homestead’s non-discrimination policy states we will not discriminate against any homebuyer on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, creed, same-gender relationship, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status or familial status.
We therefore select from equally qualified applicants using criteria that does not violate Fair Housing laws.
